In the fall of 2012, Imeriti and RZ Financial Network joined forces to create Imeriti Financial Network. Currently, IFN has staff and operations in multiple states to service our producers. From a sales standpoint, our firm has three divisions: independent brokerage, financial institutions and broker/dealers, and partner shops. Our operations are centralized across all divisions to bring consistent support to our producers.
In 1979, Carl Stern, CFP, founded Imeriti, Inc. as a means for financial producers to more easily provide annuity, life insurance and long term care insurance products to their clients. For over 35 years, Imeriti has distributed insurance based products in all 50 states combining unparalleled experience, comprehensive industry knowledge and technology driven insurance sales solutions to agents. In the spring of 2004, Jacob Stern joined Imeriti after a successful career in strategy consulting on the East Coast. Jacob grew the company quickly from three employees to over thirty and grew revenue twenty-fold. In 2009, Brian Schneier joined to further the Imeriti growth of its life insurance division. Under Brian’s leadership, Imeriti quickly grew its life premium thirty-fold in just three years. In 2008 and 2012, Imeriti made key acquisitions of other IMO partners to further develop the company. Imeriti operated in three locations: Solana Beach, CA, Walnut Creek, CA, and Olympia, WA.
RZ Financial Network
RZ Financial was started in 2003 by Nathan Zuidema working out of his house. With a focus on customer satisfaction and driven recruiting campaigns, RZ grew quickly. RZ’s initial focus was on annuities, but started to offer life insurance to its agents in 2008. In 2008, Ed Prewitt joined RZ Financial as Chief Marketing Officer. After a very successful career at a major carrier and another IMO, Ed was able to bring his client management and industry knowledge to further grow the RZ business. RZ Financial Network was chosen in January 2011 to be the first ever Field Marketing Organization to receive the Daniel J. Rourke award by Allianz Life and industry peers. This prestigious award recognized RZ Financial Network for its dedication to the Insurance Industry, high standards of service and advancement of industry professionals across the nation. Ed Prewitt, Nathan Zuidema and their staff of 15 have had the privilege of training thousands of agents and representatives. RZ operated in Monticello, MN, 20 miles from Minneapolis.
